Scott Chaney is a multidisciplinary artist from Pudsey, Leeds, working across sculpture, painting, and murals. He studied Art and Design at Leeds Thomas Danby College before earning a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (Sculpture) at the University of Leeds and Bretton Hall.
Scott's practice centres on large-scale e-waste sculpture, transforming discarded computers, circuit boards, and electronic components into illuminated figurative forms powered by LEDs and solar energy. E-waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams on the planet, and Scott's work makes that invisible problem physical and impossible to ignore, finding beauty and meaning in what most people would consider junk. Each piece raises questions about consumption, our reliance on machines, and the environmental cost of a throwaway culture.
Alongside sculpture, Scott paints and produces large-scale murals, offering portraits and commissions that bring his bold use of colour and texture into personal and public spaces.
